KUMO 1604 offers the perfect size for typical AV setups, corporate meetings, and signal monitoring need when several different cameras, computers or other video devices need to be routed to a few monitors or projectors with a compact 1RU profile and support for 3G-SDI/1.5G-SDI from 16x 3G-SDI inputs and 4x 3G-SDI outputs. Supports ganged dual and quad port routing control, allowing users to group together multiple inputs and outputs for Dual Link and Quad Link 4K/UltraHD workflows.

KUMO 3G-SDI routers support single link 1080p/HD/SD, high frame rate (HFR) and deep color formats. The routers offer network-based and/or physical control using KUMO CP and CP2 and offer a USB port for configuring IP addresses via AJA’s eMini-Setup software.

KUMO 1604’s powerful crosspoint routing matrix maps any input to any number of outputs without the need for additional patch panels or distribution amplifiers. Use KUMO 1604 as an affordable monitoring router by having access to a large number of sources for just a few destination displays. Used in this way, a KUMO 1604 can take the place of multiple distribution amplifiers or a patch panel.

As 4K workflows continue to gain ground, KUMO routers can grow as you do. With a simple setting change, KUMO routers can be configured for ganged dual and quad port routing, allowing users to group together multiple inputs and outputs for dual link, 4K/UltraHD workflows. This allows seamless routing of uncompressed or raw or 4K/UltraHD signals throughout a production or post facility. Then switch the router back to single link HD-SDI/SD-SDI operation as needed, giving you the flexibility to route virtually any format in your facility.
